My Story

I was your typical SAHM (Stay at Home Mom) of 4 that was looking to create another source of income, other than student loans, while the husband went back to school...

So I created from the ground up an online (e-commerce) women's clothing boutique, called noVae Clothing with only $3k and launched it November 1st 2010.

{yes, I launched a business during “the Great recession” in The USA}

I Pioneered the way WITH A LOT OF HELP FROM ABOVE, hard work, sacrifices and long nights in creating an incredible full time income for my Family of 6 along with employing others.  I started and ran the business from my home for almost 5 years and then in an office space, not far from the house for almost 2 years.

I built noVae Clothing to 7-Figures in 3 years.

  • I don’t share that brag - I’m not that Type of Person… I share it to show YOU it’s Possible! - Because {if} I CAN DO IT, You Can Too!

and No… I didn’t purchase any courses… just good old fashioned trial ‘n error, watching / researching / learning and Implementing what other successful businesses where doing! :)

More than 85% of those Sales Came from my Own Website!

  • NOT DEAL SITES…

I Sold mainly Women’s Clothing, along with created a very loyal audience / following (inbound marketing) for 6 years.

Capturing E-mails + E-mail Marketing ——> made this the bread ‘n butter of our business!

I established strong Relationships & Collaborated with Several Bloggers / Infulencers during the 6 yrs of building noVae Clothing:

… and many more!

I also Sold Products on These Deal Sites:

I DID NOT Rely on Social Media or the Deal Sites for my Sales!

I wanted to Focus on Building My Own Boutique Business, Opposed to Building Someone else’s Business “aka” Deal Site.

Then, I Sold noVae.

Yes! you read that right. - I Sold My Boutique Business!

It took me 2 Years to decide to sell My Boutique Business, noVae Clothing.

It was one of the hardest decisions I ever had to make.

The business was still thriving… however, I personally was not.

August 31, 2016 was my Last Day running noVae…

(it was a “turnkey” sale)

It was the weirdest feeling, yet I knew this was the family that was supposed to run it now.

noVae Clothing was Sold to a Mom Blogger + Family from Utah.

They had just moved from South Carolina back to Utah (again) and at the time, had been selling graphic t-shirts to her blogger following… instead of the modern idea of a “lemonade stand” to make money with her kids, They took it online!

God’s hands were in this entire process - it was Amazing to see!

3 years after owning noVae Clothing, they changed the name in Sept. 2019.

We all have "Chapters" in our lives and I knew that it was time for that one to end and a new Chapter to begin!

The things I have learned about myself by running a business are unimaginable but the knowledge & personal experience I gained from being a #momboss, #boutiqueboss, #momprenuer, are Priceless.

Just one of the many strengths I learned about myself through running my business was that I'm extremely passionate in helping others.
